The shows Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook bagged the awards for Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress, respectively, in a Drama Series. Succession won six awards at the ceremony after it entered the show with 27 nominations for its final season.
American comedy-drama The Bear, created by Christopher Storer, too won six awards at the 75th Emmy Awards, 2024. It was also named the Best Comedy Series this year. Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, meanwhile, were named the Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress, respectively, in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for their performances in the Netflix comedy-drama television miniseries Beef, created by Lee Sung Jin. Beef clinched five Emmys this year.

The ceremony was broadcast from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. In India, the award ceremony was live-streamed on Lionsgate Play, starting at 6.30 am on January 16. The event was hosted by comedian Anthony Anderson and featured presenters like Pedro Pascal, Juno Temple, Jenna Ortega and Stephen Colbert among others.
