Ex-Telangana Chief Minister KCR undergoes hip surgery after fall at farmhouse

Bharat Raksha Samithi (BRS) chief and former Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR), has successfully underwent hip replacement surgery after a fall at his farmhouse on Friday.

Former Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao, underwent successful hip replacement surgery following a fall at his farmhouse on Friday. Doctors said he was likely to be discharged from the hospital in two to three days.

Taking to X, the Bharat Raksha Samithi (BRS) wrote, “KCR's hip bone replacement surgery was completed under the guidance of Yashoda doctors. The doctors who released the health bulletin revealed that the surgery performed on KCR was a success. They said that his body responded well to the surgery. As the operation was successful, KCR was shifted from the operation theatre to the general room. Doctors said that it will take another 6 to 8 weeks for KCR to recover fully.”
