Shilpa Shetty Kundra made her debut in ‘Baazigar’ in 1993 followed by a variety of roles ranging from ‘Dhadkan’ to ‘Life in a Metro’, etc. The drive to consistently reinvent herself brought about one of her finest performances in ‘Phir Milenge’, where she played the role of an HIV patient, converting her into a social activist and taking the cause of HIV very seriously. Winning ‘Big Brother UK’ brought her worldwide recognition, and she continues to be seen on the small screen with her various brand endorsements and as the judge on some of the most popular reality shows on Sony TV like ‘Super Dancer’ and ‘India’s Got Talent’. With various film awards and nominations to her credit, she has been honoured with a doctorate by Leeds Metropolitan University and special award for Global Impact-IIFA2007, along with Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award-2007. She gives most of the credit to her husband, Raj, who has been the wind beneath her wings.

However, it was her unadulterated passion for a healthy lifestyle that led her to explore a whole new avenue: Entrepreneurship. She took her first step towards making 'good health' accessible to everyone through her own yoga DVD, under her own production. It became a huge success, making her a fitness icon! That culminated into her becoming the first Indian actor and wellness influencer to start her own successful YouTube channel with over 3 Million subscribers: ‘The Shilpa Shetty Channel’ and her own freemium wellness app called, 'Simple Soulful App by Shilpa Shetty'. Apart from these, she has also invested in the natural skincare brand ‘Mamaearth’, ‘Hunar Online Courses’ – a platform for women to learn and hone skills for a better life, India’s first effervescent nutrition brand ‘Fast&Up’, among others. Her fine dining restaurant franchise ‘Bastian’, along with its latest offerings ‘Binge’ and ‘Bizza’, is an absolute hit with its patrons across the spectrum.

She strongly advocates the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle, and she practices what she preaches. She plays the role of an influencer very responsibly and passionately, as she believes in associating with products and services that she truly believes in.
