Since Flashpoint went live, the Dolabra has become the weapon everybody talks about, and not without reason. You won't pull its blueprint from some sleepy loot run or a lucky side room. The game pushes you into one of the nastiest event setups it has right now, so the whole hunt feels more like a commitment than a farm. If you've already been stacking ARC Raiders Coins and gearing for tougher raids, this is exactly the sort of chase that eats your evenings. The catch is simple: you need a Rust Belt map with the Close Scrutiny condition active, and from there things get messy fast.

    Where the grind really starts
There are 1 few places where this can happen, and they're the usual Rust Belt trouble spots: Buried City, Spaceport, Blue Gate, and Dam Battlegrounds. When Close Scrutiny rolls in, Arc Assessor dropships slam onto the map and throw up huge red markers, so nobody's missing them. That's the bait. Each Assessor carries 3 high-value containers, which sounds great until you actually move in. The second you commit, Arc units start piling onto your position. Not trickling in either. They come hard, and Vaporizers usually make the whole fight worse because they force you to move when you'd rather hold a clean angle.

Why players keep running it anyway
The brutal part is the blueprint isn't guaranteed. You can do everything right, clear the platform, crack every container, and still walk away with nothing but scraps and irritation. That's why so many squads have started treating these events differently. Some wait near likely landing zones and try to be first on site. Others go the opposite way and bring smoke, cloaks, and a full escape plan. Get in, loot, get out. Honestly, both approaches can work, but neither solves the real problem, which is plain old RNG. You'll probably need multiple runs, and that's where most people burn out.

What to do when it finally drops
If the Dolabra blueprint does show up, don't overthink it. Put it in your safe pocket right away. That one decision matters more than the next fight. If you get dropped before extraction, the whole run becomes a painful story instead of progress. Back in Speranza, you'll still need to finish the job with a properly upgraded Gunsmith Station and the right materials. The shopping list includes Shredder Gyros, Magnetic Accelerators, and Vaporizer Regulators. At least that part lines up nicely, because Close Scrutiny tends to feed you plenty of chances to collect those parts while fighting through the event.

Why the Dolabra feels worth the pain
What makes the weapon stand out isn't just raw damage. It's how flexible it feels once you start using both firing modes the right way. Hip fire gives you a broad electrical blast that deletes targets at close range, especially when enemies bunch up or rush your cover. Aim down sights, though, and it tightens into a focused beam that punches through tougher targets much more cleanly. That switch alone makes the gun useful in both PvE and PvP, which is rare enough to matter. If you're serious about building around strong endgame gear, keeping an eye on trading options and upgrade support through RSVSR can make the rest of the grind a lot less painful while you keep chasing the next good raid.At RSVSR, we're all about helping Arc Raiders players chase the gear that really matters.
