It hasn’t taken long for players to feel out the early pace of Black Ops 7. You jump in, start levelling weapons fast, especially in bot lobbies, and pretty soon it’s clear which guns are going to run the show. Right now, accurate assault rifles and aggressive SMGs are locking down matches. It’s nice not having to slog through hours before things feel powerful, and with the quick weapon XP gains, you can get a maxed setup without much grind – almost feels like cutting straight to the good stuff with CoD BO7 Boosting if you wanted to.

Assault Rifles – The Core of the Game
ARs feel sharper than they have in years. The way recoil settles now is way smoother, making them more forgiving for casual players. The M15 MOD 0 is a real plug-and-play rifle – barely moves when firing, perfect for new hands. Then there’s the MXR-17, hitting hard at 42 damage per shot, ideal for steady aim in longer fights, although its slower rate means you can’t spam if you want to stay on target. And if movement is your thing, the Peacekeeper MK1 gives you great strafe speed, though you’ll wrestle with its jumpy kick.

SMGs – Speed Demons of CQB
Close-range fights are where SMGs shine right now. The Dravec 45 is easily one of the scariest guns running – it’s quick and steady, making it lethal on tight maps. The Razor 9mm, also known by some as the Ryden 45k, spits rounds faster than nearly anything else, but its recoil is wild. If you can handle the shake it’s a beast, yet most players find the Dravec more reliable when things get messy up close.

    Marksman & Sniper Options
For the folks who prefer to sit back and pick people off, the M8A1 marksman rifle is money right now. Four-round burst, barely any spread – it rewards pacing your shots perfectly and has beaten out full-auto weapons in long-range fights. Sniping feels a bit one-note though. The VS Recon stays king with easy one-shots to the upper torso. The XR-3 burst sniper just doesn’t hit the same and struggles to find a sweet spot.

Secondary Picks & The Current Must-Haves
Handguns and shotguns have their place but feel more situational. The Jäger 45 pistol is a clutch finisher and the M10 Breacher shotgun will blow someone back into the spawn if you’re close enough – you just have to be dangerously close for it to work. If you want the quick version of where the meta’s sitting right now: run the M8A1 for the open lanes and the Dravec 45 when you’re diving into tight spaces. It’s a pairing that’s hard to beat, and with CoD BO7 Boosting buy you can have those builds fight-ready in a blink.
